One Year Check-up!

As you can tell from the paucity of posts, that having 3 kids five years of age and under, is a handful to say the least.

And in contrast to the three 1st year birthday parties we held for our firstborn Elodie in three different cities, we kept it low key for Carter.

We did take the opportunity to capture the moment with some professional photos of the children. We decided to dress them up as doctors (no pressure to follow in Papa's footsteps! Honestly! I just want you to follow your passion in your pursuit of happiness!)

It's a boy!

Today, Joy had her 19-week ultrasound.

Papa and Poppy waited in the waiting room, and Elodie was at school in Junior Kindergarten class.

Then we were called in to determine the sex.

The ultrasound tech asked us to both confirm we wanted to know, to which we both replied yes.

Then she moved the ultrasound probe to find the anatomy... "it's pretty hard to miss!"

We're having a boy!

Then, we met with Joy's OB Dr. Crumley, who informed us the IPS was as low as possible and the ultrasound measurements were perfect.

Most important, we're happy he is healthy.
